I have a working kitchen! It's not pretty yet (think plywood counters), but it's usable. Last week, Sister and I canned 22 jars of tomatoes and 4 jars of salsa. I feel the need to can more so that I can try and make it through all winter.

I've also been doing lots of knitting and forgetting to take photos. As well as running to preschool and swimming lessons. I kind of look forward to when Daughter takes a bus.

I am enjoying the long weekend. My kitchen looks more like a kitchen thanks in part to Cousin who came down to labor on labor day weekend. The floor is amazing and I have some cabinets. Plumbing goes in Tuesday and then I should be able to cook again. I've done a ton of sewing so that I can send it off to Charles to silkscreen. CharlesandSarah will not only be bags for long. That's just the start.

Oh and I canned salsa and peach preserves that didn't jell. According to Google I can fix the peach preserves though.

busy

I've been working on a new shop with my friend Charles. He does the silkscreen, I do the sewing and it works. Right now there are just six bags, but there's a lot more in the making. Aprons, napkins, pillowcases and totes. So excited.
