It's been snowing since about 10:30 am, making traffic terrible, closing a road due to an impassable hill, and generally making commutes and outings horrible for people. Yet, I love it (and I even had to drive in it earlier). I love how it looks, I love how excited the kids are, I love curling up by the fireplace, I love making comfort food and hot chocolate, and I even love the coats dripping wet in the bathtub. What can I say? I'm a winter girl at heart.
For all of you that do have to go out in this and drive and possibly save people's lives (I'm thinking of you hospital workers, EMTs, and firemen), a heart felt thank you for keeping things running and stay safe!
It was awfully sloppy out there earlier after the rain, but when it changed to snow, it was one of the prettiest snowfalls I've seen in quite a while.
